This has got to be one of the best looking, if not a little bit morbid, bird houses I have ever seen. Designed by Portland based Esque Studios, this hand blown bird house is just a wonder to look at with its little noose perch.
Experimenting with form and technique, Esque Studios has achieved a coherent vision of functional accessories, lighting and architectural detailing. Their interest is in the inherent attributes of glass, which they infuse into the details and design of each Esque object. Each piece that is produced is handmade to order, and is a unique, functional, collectible piece of art.
Esque evolved through the collaboration between Justin Parker and Andi Kovel. The duo has risen to international acclaim over the past 10 years, and are leaders in the American market for hand blown, modern, functional glass works.

birds fly into glass ya jerk. the noose is appropriate since any avian resident would wreck itself in a second.
