Mauro Bianucci

Mauro Bianucci has released two new bags the Carga T1 & T1L. Both are beautifully designed and follow along with the Carga philosophy of using construction techniques in unexpected ways. Coming in at $275 for the T1 and $525 for the T1L, they are a bit expensive for my tastes, but I'm sure if you asked my wife she would say they aren't to horribly expensive. Check out the full line of Carga bags at their website, cargabags.com.

Felted Wool Stones

Posted by tb4

These felted wool stones from textile designer Ronel Jordaan are pretty fun, and will let you bring a little nature indoors without having to deal with all that dirt that comes with bringing real nature indoors. I know I know you could wash the stones you bring in from outside and not have to worry about all the dirt, but seriously those stones would be so heavy and not very comforatable to lay on. These remind me of the Livingstones from designer Stephanie Marin.

"Renowned South African textile designer Ronel Jordaan takes her inspiration from nature, and uses felt to give free rein to her imagination. Socially conscious as well as gifted, Jordaan has set up a women's workshop in Gauteng- Johannesburg-where her personally trained artisans transform interlocking fibers, made from 100% merino wool, into these freeform oversized "stone" floor cushions. Though they may fool the eye, they provide immediately recognizable comfort to weary torsos in search of a relaxing seat. Soft yet buoyant, the veined, smooth textured cushions can be arranged to support seat and back. Children love them. Parents love them. Guests love them, too. Hand washable in cold water."

Bulldang

Posted by tb4

The Bulldang seat would be just perfect for some sort of reading room. The Bulldang designed by Hirohiko Kamiya has an organic, supple, human feel, one can form any seating arrangement desired. Measuring a solid 30 feet in length the Bulldang definitely offers plenty of seating configurations, to make anyone comfortable.

The "Bulldang" seat is in the form of a de-structured, padded, and segmented tube nine meters long, which offers users the possibility of composing a seat adapted to their use depending on their idea of comfort. By putting a number of these modules together, possibilities of composition in spatial layout are enormous.

This piece has been realized in collaboration with Dupont de Nemours allowing to widen the application of textiles destined for the dressing of furniture. The cloth "Climate Control" by Dupont Neotis Studio is knitted which allows good ventilation and has been chosen for its qualities of elasticity, solidity, and resistance to rubbings

Little Factory

Posted by tb4

These scarfs from Little Factory are just to good. They come in a three different styles, uppercase, lowercase and numbers, I am particularly partial to the number scarf.

Now a little about Little Factory. Little Factory started as a design website focusing on pixel graphics. They shared their ideas with others by offering free downloads such as icons, wallpapers and screensavers. Their works have been published in books and magazines and won several awards.

Now Little Factory is a brand under Item Limited. Every item that is created is based on interesting observations of daily lives. Little Factory hopes that they will delight you as much as they have enjoyed putting them together.

suvetar bed linens

Posted by tb4

I really like these linens from CB2, very simple calligraphy swirls. I really like the way they lay out on the sheets, there is a lot of look at but not so much that it would overtake the room. There is no possibility of getting these past the little lady, but one can hope.
