
LifeRemains is a graduation project by Netherlands based designer Ruud Havenith. The project is absolutely brilliant. LifeRemains brings life to the rigid skeletons that everyone knows from biology class and the museum.
By attaching the bones with nuts and bolts to a flexible aluminum core, three skeletons were created with the flexibility of a living creature. The three skeletons, cat, hawk and snake were created from hunderes of birch wood bones. The life size skeletons can sit, lay, stand and fly.
