Wonderful mixed media illustrations by Russ Mills, aka byroglyphics. I just love his style and his pieces are so expressive.
For his Graphic work he compiles as much source material as possible in the form of textures , random marks and scribbles etc and then he scans it all, the primary image is drawn and also scanned. Russ Mills then manipulate the constituent parts on the computer, he keeps the amount of layers to a bare minimum so the results are as spontaneous as possible. He also doesn't use any filters at all to keep the 'digital' nature of the image to a minimum.
Have fun checking out his site, his blog, his online store, and his myspace.
