Karen Caldicott

Posted by tb4

I've done a lot of sculpture in the past through high school and college, and I have a ton of respect for anyone who artist who does sculpture and does it well. I really like Karen Caldicott's work, especially her Mr. Incredible and Sponge Bob Square Pants, although Sponge Bob does look a bit drunk in the above one. Each of the models are sculpted out of plasticine, and are between 6" and 8" high. A lot of Karen's work has been featured in New York Magazine, go check out the rest of her work at her site linked below.

wow, what a fantastic blog you have. It is hard to not comment on all the wonderful things you have here. But once i saw this i had to stop - Mr Incredible looks incredible! We went to the PIXAR exhibition a couple of months ago and it was great to see all the backing work that goes into the features.
Thanks for sharing all your great finds!

I really enjoyed this sports write-up. The explanation of the team’s defensive strategy and attacking transitions was very detailed. Sports culture often inspires fashion and lifestyle trends as well, like those seen in Landman Outfits And Merchandise.
