Nerds love Star Wars and nerds love transformers, so why the hell wouldn't you put them together. This seems like what the toy designers said in the development meeting for this guy. But who the hell cares this is awesome, come on if Darth Vader had been able to transform like this Luke wouldn't have stood a chance in hell.

This is such a better looking way to hold all of your DVD's, CD's whatever, than the standard ready to assemble crap you can get. The only draw back is that it is a concept and if it ever gets to production it is going to be crazy expensive.

These are Pocket Shots, single serving alcohol in a plastic bottle, yes finally. Oh yes finally drunks and college kids can now take their drink everywhere with them. Wait don't they already do this, yeah I think so, in flasks, or water bottles. Both of which would be much less conspicuous seeing as it doesn't have the name of the alcohol you are drinking on the outside of the package. There is absolutely no point to these, can you really see anyone actually buying or using these.

So it looks like this is the new Ipod Nano, god I'm really glad I didn't wait to get my Ipod now. That thing looks like crap. The only thing that will save it, is if it like paper thin, but other than that I'm less than impressed with Apple's new design.

This would have been awesome in college, sure you would look stupid as hell, but when you are walking back from the lunch line and someone bumps you at least you would lose all your silverware. Well actually plasticwear in this case but whatever, it always used to suck to get almost all the way back to your table to eat and then you drop a fork on the floor and you have to make the horrible decision of, do I get up and get a new fork or do I try to eat this lovely spaghetti with a knife and spoon, not very easy to do by the way.

Who remembers pop-up books, I sure as hell do. It was always a fun surprise when something moved inside a book that shouldn't be. But my pop-up books were no where near as cool as these, seriously that shark looks like it could eat your face.

I love Dale Chihuly’s work, no matter what he does, from his small seaform pieces all the way up to his giant installations, they are all beautifully done. Lately I have been really into art glass, but Chihuly's has always been one of my favorite artists, if only I had an extra 4 or 5 thousand dollars laying around to pick up one of his pieces. So for years i have been looking at actually doing a art glass class, maybe next summer I'll give up indoor soccer and actually take one, who knows.

Beautiful car day here, the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia. 510hp and no top end speed yet but I'm guessing it will be up in the 200mph somewhere. Obviously a absolutely spectacular car, and if anyone says this is a mid-life crisis car please oh please give me a mid-life crisis now.

Ok now that I have stopped drooling over this car, I can say that only 777 are going to be made, sadly only a select few are actually going to get their hands on this beauty. For 70,000 Euros it is a bit of a bargain for any limited edition high end luxury car, obviously not a bargain to me but definitely a bargain to those who have the money to actually look at this car.

So I remember this kind of stuff from when I was like 4 years old, actually I don't really remember it, but there are videos of stuff like this at my moms house. All you really see in those videos though, is me and my brother and sister beating each other with the plastic golf club. Seriously though they are charging 169 pounds for this, and if I'm being generous that is like $300, that is just stupid expensive for a bunch of pieces of plastic. Look on the bright side though you do get a sweet pink ball when you get the set. Now here is the real question do you lose your ball at the end of the round like you do in real mini golf?
I got to listen to the new Paul Van Dyk CD this week, due out August 14Th. I love Dance, Techno, Trance, whatever you want to call it, music. So this CD is right up my alley, I had heard a few of the songs on here before I got to listen to the whole CD, BBC's radio1 has been playing the singles for a week or so. It is a nice fairly chill CD, and I love the way all the songs flow into each other, if you listen to the CD straight through it sounds like one big song. Great CD for sitting down and getting some work done, which obviously I haven't been doing since I'm posting on here.

So I had the opportunity to check out the new CD from Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. The CD is due out at the end of the month, but you can go and pre-order it now at Dave's site. The CD is great, obviously I'm biased because i love Dave Matthews, but whatever. There is a lot of old stuff on the CD, and in my opinion, Tim Reynolds is the best compliment to Dave there is. It also has what is quickly becoming my favorite Dave song, stay or leave, and a new one I first heard at a concert last year, sister, which is a excellent song. I really like his slower stuff better, the quicker louder stuff, these days, Dave sounds like he is yelling a bit more than singing. Seriously Tim Reynolds is just a freak on the guitar, on two step it sounds like his fingers should be falling off he is playing so quickly, and his personal music is a nice break in the middle of Dave singing. All in all a great CD, with plenty of old hits and a few new ones that will surprise you.
So this is what happens when you try to use clear acrylic to make a tablecloth. So you get a crazy table that looks like it should fold up and go in the cabinet for the next time grandma comes over and you have to get out the good china and silverware. I'm not sure how durable it would be, I mean seriously I wouldn't try any exceptionally fun stuff on it, really how do you explain that at the hospital after you break it. Doctor: How did you get all these shards in your ass and back? You: Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......I fell.

Who needs a new chair
This is one of the coolest things designers do, they put together a fantastic design and then they actually put out the directions on how to build one for yourself. The designers at designnobis have pretty much made my day, their site may be partly in a different language, but fear not the directions to the chair are easy and in English. It looks like all you will have to do to put his together is size up the directions, so you can print out proper size templates to cut the wood from, they don't give any idea how much you need to size them up though so good luck with that. Get your wood, get some rope, and have fun making a new chair.

Have you ever found yourself wondering what I should get that girl in my life for one of those romantic occasions. Well here you go the love is blind vase, it has love letters embossed on the vase in braille. Now it does help if that special girl in your life is blind if she actually wants to read it, but for everyone else it is a very nicely design vase, with a bit of hidden meaning.

Limited Edition Snake - Titanium
Philippe Starke is a crazy good watch designer, you can check out a lot of his designs on the fossil website. I absolutely love this limited edition run of his Snake design, hint hint my birthday is coming up. The way it attaches is very nicely done, making it look like there is no clasping mechanism at all. Also if you get a chance check out his Veiled ladies watch, the hands look like they are actually under the metal band, very nice.

The Doorknob Signal
Did anyone ever have a problem back in college with people just walking in on you, at not so oportune moments. Well here is the doorknob for you, designer Arnaud Lapierre has come up with an innovative way to keep your privacy, and keep unwanted guests out. So I guess you pull the doorknob from the inside to make it lay flush with the door, i still can't really figure out how you get the doorknob back out but I'm guessing there is a key of some sort. But a fun little design, and will keep your drunk friends from busting in on you at 3 in the morning, or it could keep you from getting your drunk ass in your own room at 3am, well I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

So this is wallpaper from Surrealien, a very cool company from Germany. You send them the dimensions of your room and where your door, pictures, light switches, etc.... Then they design wallpaper that takes into account all of this, wrapping the wallpaper around all of these different pieces on your wall. But I would have to say I really hope you like the artwork that is on your wall because good luck moving it after you have wallpaper specifically design to go around it.

Very simple idea, but a wonderful implementation. Cut some holes in the lamp shade to make a crazy design on your wall celling whatever. Will this work for most peoples homes probably not, but if you want to spruce up your drab little apartment this is an easy way to do it.
Best ash tray ever
So this is quite possibly my favorite design concept ever. So how much of your life are you killing off with every one of those lovely Marlboro’s you are firing up, 4 years, 1 day, 1 hour. This ash tray weighs the amount of ash in the tray and lets you know how quickly you are killing yourself. Do I really think that this would work to deter smoking, no, not even a little smokers would probably just smoke more to cover up the message at the bottom of the tray, but it is a fantastic idea.
